Questions HR and benefits leaders are asking
Explore answers to common questions about workforce health outcomes, wellbeing accountability, biometric improvement, and how our Health Improvement Guarantee works.
A health improvement guarantee is a performance-based commitment that ties a portion of a vendor's fees to agreed-upon workforce health outcomes. Rather than measuring activity alone, a health improvement guarantee focuses on whether employees improve their health risk profile over time. Navigate's Health Improvement Guarantee places 30% of recurring subscription fees at risk based on agreed-upon health improvement and risk reduction outcomes for eligible employers over 3,000 employees launching Navigate on or before January 1, 2027. Terms and conditions apply. Schedule a demo to learn more about Navigate’s Health Improvement Guarantee.
Workforce health outcomes are measured through objective indicators such as biometric improvement, risk reduction, engagement, and health behavior change. For eligible organizations participating in the Health Improvement Guarantee, Navigate establishes a Year 1 baseline and evaluates health improvement through a Year 3 analysis to determine the proportion of engaged participants who improve one or more biometric values.
Many employee wellbeing programs create one approach that focuses on participation, incentives, or activity reporting. Navigate is completely custom to your organization, needs, and goals. Our approach combines Culture, Care, Clinical Wellbeing, and industry-aligned client success to help employees understand what to do next, take action, and improve health outcomes. This approach connects engagement to measurable health improvement and risk reduction rather than activity alone.
Peer-reviewed research, national datasets, and our own book of business data consistently shows that earlier intervention, preventive care, and behavior change can help reduce health risks before they become more costly conditions. Navigate helps organizations identify opportunities for earlier action through personalized readiness-to-change guidance, pharmacist-led health coaching, and evidence-based clinical wellbeing programs designed to improve workforce health over time.
Many wellbeing programs report participation, logins, and completed activities. While those metrics matter, they don't answer the question leadership cares about most: Is workforce health actually improving? HR and benefits leaders can demonstrate value by measuring changes in health risks, biometric outcomes, employee wellbeing, and workforce engagement over time. When outcomes are tracked against a clear baseline and aligned to business objectives, wellbeing becomes more than a program; it becomes a measurable business strategy.
Navigate believes accountability should extend beyond HR and benefits leaders. Because we are confident in our ability to activate workforce health through Culture, Care, and Clinical Wellbeing, we align our success with our clients by placing 30% of fees at risk based on agreed-upon outcomes for eligible employers with 3,000+ employees, launching Navigate on or before January 1, 2027.
